The Clayton State University Alumni Association’s Annual Dinner is scheduled for Saturday, Apr. 12, 2008 at the Georgia Aquarium. At the dinner, the Association bestows outstanding alumni awards to a worthy recipient of each of the University’s schools and colleges, as well as an award to an overall distinguished graduate.
The Clayton State Alumni Association welcomes public participation in the nomination process. Professional knowledge and expertise in recognizing excellence in a particular area or field make such public nominations, whether they be from Clayton State alumni or the public in general, extremely valuable to the Alumni Association. Individuals who wish to nominate a Clayton State alumni for an award can go to http://adminservices.clayton.edu/alumni/distinguished_alumni/nomination.html for an online nomination form.
“This will be the seventh year we have recognized our graduates this way,” says Clayton State Director of Alumni Relations Gid Rowell. “The completed nominations are due by Mar. 1. Please call me at 678-466-4477 if you have any questions.”
