Governor Sonny Perdue’s Judicial Nominating Commission (JNC) has submitted recommendations to fill the vacancies on the State Court of Hall County, the State Court of Henry County and the Augusta Judicial Circuit. The vacancy on the State Court of Hall County was created with the passage of HB 1456 during the 2008 Legislative Session, and the vacancy on the State Court of Henry County was created with the passage of HB 1099 during the 2008 Legislative Session. The vacancy in the Augusta Judicial Circuit was created with the resignation of the Honorable Duncan Wheale.
The JNC submitted the following recommendations to fill the vacancy within the State Court of Hall County:
· Larry A. Baldwin III – Solicitor-General; Hall County
· Ann Adams Shuler – Private Practice; Stephens & Shuler
The JNC submitted the following recommendations to fill the vacancy within the State Court of Henry County:
· Gregory A. Futch – Municipal Court Judge, City of McDonough; Private Practice; Gregory A. Futch, P.C.
· Jason T. Harper – Private Practice; Crumbley & Harper, P.C.
· Nichole A. Reynolds – Magistrate Judge, Henry County; Private Practice; Nichole A. Reynolds, L.L.C.
The JNC submitted the following recommendations to fill the vacancy with the Augusta Judicial Circuit:
· J. Wade Padgett – Chief Magistrate Judge, Columbia County; Private Practice; J. Wade Padgett, P.C.
· Emory Fredrick Sanders, Sr. – Private Practice; Capers, Dunbar, Sanders & Bruckner, LLP
