Gwinnett County District 3 Commissioner Mike Beaudreau takes his monthly open house on the road this month and will meet with constituents on Saturday, June 14 at the new Duncan Creek Park. The commissioner’s meeting coincides with the park’s grand opening celebration. Those who wish to meet with Commissioner Beaudreau will find him near the skate complex. He will meet with the public immediately following the 10 a.m. ribbon cutting through noon.
“The idea behind these monthly Saturday office hours is that anyone can stop in, without scheduling a formal appointment, and I will be there to listen,” said Beaudreau. “The only difference this month will be the location.”
An official ribbon cutting for Duncan Creek Park will take place at 10 a.m. followed by festivities such as free children’s activities and skateboarding, BMX biking, sand volleyball and basketball demonstrations. The 88-acre Duncan Creek Park is located at 3700 Braselton Highway in Dacula.
Gwinnett County’s Commission District 3 covers the eastern part of the county from the Highway 78 corridor north to I-85, and includes the cities of Snellville, Loganville, Grayson, Dacula and Auburn.
