Today Janice Davis, the Chief Financial Officer for the City of Atlanta since 2004 announced her resignation.
“Today I have accepted Janice Davis’ resignation. For almost four years she has been a valuable member of the City’s leadership team as we worked to move the City’s finances to a new level of accountability and performance,” said Mayor Franklin. “As much as I respect her decision to leave, I wish it were not so. She has been sought after by others since the day she joined our administration in 2004 and I wish her well as she embarks on this new phase of her career.”
She will remain as the Chief Financial Officer through July 9, 2008 when she will leave to take a position in Texas.
